Bath Therapy
Tibetan bath therapy is among the various medical treatments recognized in a growing number of medical institutions and spas globally, and this number is on the rise. It can reduce swelling, inflammation, and slow the progression of damage to the bones and cartilage. Tibetan bath therapy adheres to the same principles applied to Tibetan medicine. This form of restorative bath exercises the use of medicinal herb to cure and prevent disease. Among the array of curative treatments in Tibetan medicine are the water bath, binding therapy, and vapor bath.
Water Bath
A water bath is a medicated bath applied to a targeted region of the body. It can be employed in an all-natural thermal spa bath or water bath containing a solution of herbs, based on classification of infection, with healing properties used for integration into the affected region of the body. Tibetan bath therapy incorporates medicinal herbs and heat, which opens the pores, releasing the virus from the body.
Binding Therapy
A similar purpose to that of a healing water bath, binding therapy is a treatment used for mild arthritic pain. Unlike the water bath, it is not necessary to involve the whole body in water. A medicinal preparation can be applied in a hot compress and applied to the affected region of concern. This procedure can be applied to cervical dystonia, ankylosing spondylitis, and other forms of osteoarthritis. Binding therapy is straightforward and effective.
Vapor bath
A vapor bath promotes well-being both physically and emotionally. The sweating produced from this form of steaming facilitates the transfer bacterial toxins from the body. The vapor bath supports the immune system's ability to protect body systems from exposure to disease. It also relieves stress and anxiety.
Tibetan medicine is a substantial contributor to the practice of medicine that is distinct.
